Lynchburg chasing away the chill with free homemade hats and scarves

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Lynchburg residents have been knitting and crocheting up a storm to keep Lynchburg warm.

People have used their skills to whipped up scarves, hats and cowls as part of the 3rd annual Chase the Chill.

Starting at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, those items will be hung from trees, fences and sign posts around the Human Services Building at 99 Ninth Street and the Park View Community Mission 2420 Memorial Avenue.
