ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- The City of Roanoke is using a "spooky" tactic to remind you where to put your trash.

"IT drains to the nearest stream," Roanoke Stormwater wrote on Facebook. "Remember only rain and Pennywise down the drain."

Six red balloons have been placed at locations around downtown Roanoke to show you to be mindful about throwing trash on the ground because it ends up in the drain.
