LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Hundreds gathered Thursday evening at the University of Lynchburg for the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities' annual Humanitarian Awards dinner.
ABC 13's Noreen Turyn was able to emcee the event once again this year.
The dinner honored six people for their extensive volunteerism and community service - Dr. Sally Selden, Dolly and Will Cardwell, Dee Fowler, Francis Giles, and former Lynchburg City Manager Kimball Payne.
The VCIC is a non-profit organization dedicated to inclusiveness and diversity, through the many programs it offers to schools and institutions statewide.
