Fourth grade artist designs 'I voted' sticker in Culpeper County

Fourth grade artist designs 'I voted' sticker in Culpeper County (ABC7)

CULPEPER, Va. (ABC7) — If you voted today, you likely got an "I voted" sticker.

What's different in Culpeper County is that a student created the design for the sticker.

Nine-year-old Natalie Nicholson is the artist behind this year's sticker, which features an American flag and an outline of the state of Virginia.

Nicholson says it took her about a day and a half to create the design.

"It's really cool to see everybody wearing my art and I'm really proud that I had won it and all so that they can be wearing it," said Nicholson.

Culpeper County High School senior Jeffrey Maldonado designed the county's 'Future Voter' sticker.
