LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The City of Lynchburg announced that portions of Church Street and 9th Street will temporarily close for scheduled protests regarding reproductive rights.
Beginning at 4 p.m., the closures will include Church Street between 8th Street and 10th Street and 9th Street between Church Street and Main Street, in front of Monument Terrace.
Lynchburg Democrats posted a flyer for the event on their Facebook page saying, "If you're pissed, protest now."

Motorists should be alert and follow the detour route and be aware of civilian traffic.
