DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- People rallied in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals in Danville.
Virginia Organizing, the group, chanted outside of the courthouse to bring attention to the Supreme Court hearing about DACA.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will consider President Donald Trump's decision to eliminate the program.
People at the rally said they are doing what they can to make their voices heard.
"There continue to be areas where we have not lived up to the ideals that the country was founded on," said Martha Woody with Virginia Organizing.
ABC 13 reached out to Congressman Denver Riggleman for comment but we have not yet heard back.
President Trump said in tweets last month if the Supreme Court upholds DACA, it would give the president 'extraordinary powers.'
