Craddock Terry's Buster Brown to retire
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET)-- A dog will be hanging up his collar pretty soon.
The Craddock Terry's Greeter Buster Brown is getting ready for retirement.
The 9-and-a-half year old wire fox terrier greeted guests at the Lynchburg hotel for nearly his whole life.
His protege is 7-month-old wire fox terrier Penny Loafer.
Buster Brown will train her to take on his role.
According to hotel staff, they're already behaving like siblings.
"Buster is the mean older brother and she's the annoying little sister," Deputy Hotel Director Christin Fox said. "They definitely have times where they're curled up and cute with one another, and she just adores him. He's starting to be a little bit more kind to her."
Buster Brown will live with Fox after he retires.
There's no set date for his last day.
