Comcast providing free Xfinity WiFi hotspots to non-customers during Florence
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Comcast announced Tuesday they have opened up more than 45,000 Xfinity WiFi hotspots across Virginia to customers and non-Comcast customers alike.
This will help residents, businesses and first responders stay connected throughout Hurricane Florence.
The Xfinity WiFi hotspots will be available from now until Monday, September 17.

When you are near a hotspot, you can pick the "xfinitywifi" choice in the list of WiFi networks, then launch a a browser.
For current Xfinity Internet customers, can sign in with their username and password.
Non-customers can visit the "Not an Xfinity Internet Customer” section on the sign-in page.
Comcast says non-customers can renew their free WiFi sessions every two hours until September 17.
Xfinity customers can also keep up to date on their account by downloading the Xfinity My Account app or visiting their website.
