CAMPBELL Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Campbell County Sheriff's Office said there is no danger to the public after a man was found dead at a convenience store.
Captain Dwayne Wade with the sheriff's office said they got a call around 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 9 for a welfare check on a person in the parking lot of Moore's Country Store at the intersection of Waterlick Road and Leesville Road.
They said the man's mom was wondering where he was.
An employee of Moore's found the 51-year-old man unresponsive in a vehicle in the parking lot.
The sheriff's office said there is nothing suspicious about his death, but they are waiting for the medical examiner to determine the exact cause.
They do expect the report to take a bit of time.
Officials said they are not going to release the man's name yet.
