Another body has been recovered from the Dan River after two remained missing from Wednesday's tubing incident on the Dan River.

That body has been identified as 7-year-old Isiah Crawford, of Eden, North Carolina.

Authorities say on Wednesday night, a total of nine people went into the water and four people were rescued, three were found dead and two remained missing.

The Rockingham County Department of Emergency Service says at approximately 10:02 a.m. Sunday, the 911 center received a call from a citizen who says they saw what was believed to be a body in the river near the Draper Landing.

According to officials, responders were immediately dispatched to the area and confirmed that a body was in the water.

They say recovery efforts are currently underway.

On Saturday, officials announced that they concluded their search and rescue efforts for the two remaining victims. They said they felt confident they had exhausted all efforts to rescue, or recover, the two victims.

In addition, officials say the river flow increased overnight with the release of the water from Belews Lake and they believe it was very likely that the victims could surface as a result of the increase of overflow.

They say they continue to stand behind their decision on Saturday to suspend search efforts until they had new leads. At this time, they will monitor the flow of the river and they will actively monitor any further developments.
