LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The former White House communication's director is planned to speak at Liberty University.

Anthony Scaramucci confirmed via Twitter that he will be speaking at the university in November.

Scaramucci served as President Trump's communications director for 10 days before he was removed after an interview with Ryan Lizza, of the New Yorker, where he talked about fellow White House staffers Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon.

Both of them have since exited their roles at the White House as well.

It's not clear the exact date for his appearance or why he's speaking at Liberty, but he said he's "very excited" about the visit.

LU has already confirmed several convocation speakers, including Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, Baltimore Ravens tight-end Benjamin Watson, the Harlem Globetrotters exhibition basketball team, Jeff Foxworthy, and several tennis professionals.
