LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — An area mission is working hard to make sure students in Lynchburg have the resources they need to complete their education.
Parkview Community Mission is partnering with US Cellular for their "After School Access Project."
The project is meant to help families get access to the internet to help their child's education.

They will be providing hotspot devices to ensure everyone has access to the internet.
Todd Blake is the executive director at Parkview Mission, and he said this will make a huge difference in the community.
"The families that Parkview Community Mission typically serves -- so families that are under the federal poverty level -- will be the families that can have access to these devices and the internet service," Blake explained.
Blake said they currently have 200 devices to give out, completely free of charge.

He said they'll also assist in the installation of those devices too.
