3 found with gunshot wounds across Roanoke believed to be connected to same shooting

Three people were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in Roanoke early Sunday morning, all possibly connected to the same shooting incident.

Roanoke police said a person with a gunshot wound was reported in the 600 block of Westside Boulevard around 3:15 a.m.

Responding officers found one man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound who was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

While on the scene on Westside Boulevard, Roanoke police were notified that another man had driven himself to an area hospital with a gunshot wound resulting from the same incident on Westside Boulevard.

Around 4:15 a.m., another report was made to Roanoke police of a person with a gunshot wound.

Officers found a third person witha non-life-threatening gunshot wound in a vehicle in the 1300 block of Melrose Avenue.

Roanoke police said investigators believe the third victim is also connected to the incident on Westside Boulevard.

No arrests have been made at this time, Roanoke police said.
