16-year-old victim identified in deadly Roanoke crash

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- Roanoke Police have identified the victim in a deadly two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a minivan Friday night.

Police say the victim passenger in the minivan has been identified as Corrina Brown, 16, of Roanoke.

Police say the crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Orange and Plantation NE.

Police say Brown was pronounced dead at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital at 7:07 pm.

The other occupants of the minivan were identified as the driver, Shanice Noelle Bostic, 23, of Vinton and the front seat passenger, Chisa Ayton, 24, of Roanoke.

Both Bostic and Ayton were also transported to CRMH for treatment of their injuries, according to police.

They say no charges have been filed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
