Lynchburg officer named Officer of the Month after lifesaving effort

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — We have a lot of heroes - living here in the heart of Virginia and ABC 13 is highlighting them!

The Lynchburg Police Department went to social media to thank the Lynchburg Police Foundation for their support and for recognizing the department's Officer of the Month.

The department said Sergeant Fink is commended for "his quick action in saving the life of an unconscious person."
