UPDATE: 12:00 p.m.
Nelson Co., VA - A press conference just wrapped up on the disappearance of Alexis Murphy.
The FBI, along with the Commonwealth's Attorney pleaded with the public and media for any information at all on Alexis or Randy Taylor, asking for any tips - no matter how small - to be called to the Nelson County Sheriff's Office at 434-263-7050.
The FBI is also looking for a GMC Suburban they believe is associated with Randy Taylor.
A source told our own Parker Slaybaugh Sunday that Taylor had been arrested for the kidnapping of Alexis Murphy.
A new mugshot of Taylor has been released by the FBI.
Alexis Murphy's Mother gave a tearful plea for information as well.
"Please, if the public knows anything, let us know. Please," her mother said, breaking down in tears.
"We continue to ask the public for tips, particularly if you have information on Randolph Taylor," Anthony Martin, Commonwealth's Attorney said.
The FBI says they are aware of other missing person cases in Virginia, but would not comment on whether or not the cases are related to Murphy's.
"I know this is some speculation if this case is related to other disappearances, we continue to look at all possibilities," an FBI agent said.
Authorities didn't offer any significant new information, and didn't answer questions from reporters following their brief statement.
Investigators were thankful for the public's attention to the case, and to the help from surrounding agencies in helping with the search.
ABC 13 will have much more on the search for Alexis Murphy throughout the day online and on ABC 13 News at 5, 5:30, 6, and 11.
