Series of Roanoke Valley Store Break-Ins May be Related, Investigators Say

Roanoke, VA - Police say two breaking and entering cases in the Roanoke Valley may be related. The latest breaking and entering happened early Friday morning at 1:20. Roanoke Police say a white male is wanted for the breaking and entering of the Xpress Stop store in the 3500 Block of Plantation Road. Roanoke Police Spokesperson Scott Leamon says the suspect broke several windows to get into the store then took a money order printing machine before fleeing the scene. The second breaking and entering is being investigated by Roanoke County Police. On June 6, investigators say someone broke into the Snappy's Food Mart in the 600 block of Liberty Road, NE. Police say the suspect didn't stop there, however. Only an hour later and on the same night, another minute market on Starkey Road was broken into, police say. Police need your help if you have any information, whether it's a big tip or something you doubt will help, any information could held lead an arrest.
