UPDATE: Name Released of Pittsylvania Co. Inmate Found Dead

UPDATE:

Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office has released the name of an inmate that died while in custody. That inmate was 53-year-old Joyce Campbell Braham of Axton.

She was being held on a probation violation.

Deputies say Braham was found unresponsive inside the jail on Saturday and later pronounced dead.

According to a press release, investigators are still interviewing those in close proximity to Braham at the time of the incident.

That inmate was then pronounced dead by rescue personnel.According to a press release, foul play is not suspected.Investigators are interviewing everyone that was in close proximity to the inmate at the time of the incident to find out just what happened.
