Interfaith Outreach to Hold Silent Auction Sunday

Lynchburg, VA - Interfaith Outreach in Lynchburg has come up with a new way to raise money and promote local artists at the same time.

The group is holding a silent auction of about 27 pieces of local art on Sunday.

Proceeds will help provide emergency assistance to those who have lost their homes to fire, or eviction, and those who have had their utilities disconnected.

The auction even includes a jazz brunch at Tresca downtown.

"I think there is something for everybody. The scenery around here is so amazing. I think it is--the artists have a field day in trying to decide what it is they want to paint," said Shawne Farmer from Interfaith Outreach

Tickets for the jazz brunch and auction are $35 each. You can call the outreach office at 434-846-6098 if you're interested.
