Danville, VA- Festival in the Park wrapped up its three day festival in Danville on Sunday.
Thousands of people came out over the weekend to enjoy themselves. They enjoyed plenty of good food, specialty items, and an afternoon full of gospel music on Ballou Park's outdoor stage.
Hundreds also gathered around to watch the African Drummers & dancers perform.
It didn't matter if you were a senior citizen, young adult or a child this weekend. Everyone found something that they liked at the 38th annual Festival in the Park!
"I bought a bandana and we bought barbecue sauce to make chicken and yeah I want to go buy some jewelry so, it's good," said Lindsey Litka, a student at Averett University.
Most of the Ballou Park's 97 acres was covered with something exciting to do or eat!
