Hillcats' Pannone continues hot start on the mound
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Lynchburg pitcher Thomas Pannone continues to baffle Carolina League hitters.
Monday night, the 23-year-old southpaw pitched seven complete innings, allowing just three hits, no runs, striking out eight with no walks in helping the Hillcats beat Winston-Salem 5-0.
Pannone picked up the win, running his record to 2-and-0.
In five starts this season, Pannone has not allowed an earned run, his E.R.A. is 0.00.
He's walked only seven batters and struck out 39 in his five starts.

So I've never been one to really nibble around the strike zone, I go right at guys with everything I've got. I mean it's just kind of how I've always been."
