VT's Moore on 2019 Football Hall of Fame ballot
BLACKSBURG, Va. (WSET) - Virginia Tech standout Corey Moore is one of 76 players on the 2019 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
The new class will be announced Monday, January 7th.
Moore helped lead the Hokies to the national championship game in 1999, the year he won the Bronko Nagurski Award as college football's defensive Player of the Year, the Lombardi Award as lineman of the year, the Big East Defensive Player of the Year and was a unanimous first-team All-American.
Moore also earned All-America honors in '98 when he led the Big East with 13-and-a-half sacks.
