UNC-W coach Kevin Keatts talks about facing UVa
WILMINGTON, NC (WSET) - The Seahawks left their Wilmington campus Tuesday afternoon on the way to Orlando and Thursday's NCAA first-round game against Virginia. Wilmington's head coach is Lynchburg's own Kevin Keatts, the Hill City native who played at Heritage and Ferrum College before coaching the Hargrave post-grad team a combined 11 years.
Now he's working on a plan to knock out the Cavaliers.
Kevin Keatts, 3RD-YEAR UNC-WILMINGTON HEAD COACH, said "I have no idea how we're going to score. I've been in practice and I try to sneak seven or eight guys in there on the defensive end. You know Tony's a great coach. If you look at this Virginia team, four weeks ago people were talking about them being a number one seed. And this will be a tough game, it's the toughest game we've played all year long."
