Liberty Flames seek first 3-0 start since 2008 against Indiana St.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - The 2-and-0 Liberty Flames will be looking for their first-ever win over Indiana State when they host the Sycamores this Saturday night at 6.

LU routed Morehead State 58-17 Saturday, Indiana State is 0-and-2 but the losses have come to Eastern Illinois and Tennessee. After sitting out the Baylor game due to eligibility concerns, Flames' wide receiver B.J. Farrow returned with a bang Saturday night, setting career-highs with six catches for 177 yards and three TDs. And the cloud hanging over his eligibility is gone.

Turner Gill, LIBERTY FLAMES HEAD COACH, said "Issue is resolved, over and done with. Great to see B.J., excited about him. I know Buckshot Calvert was excited to see him and so we had a great receiving corps. We've got Antonio Gandy-Golden, we've got Damian King and B.J. Farrow and we've got other three guys that have played really, really well."

Robert Wimberly, LIBERTY FLAMES DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR, said "You watch the Tennessee film and you'll realize offensively they held their own. They did not get knocked around, they did a good job with their scheme. So really excited about the challenge."
