Liberty Baseball roughs up Youngstown State 12-2
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Liberty swept a quick two-game midweek series with Youngstown State, beating the Penguins 12-2 Wednesday.
The Flames had defeated Youngstown 16-0 on Tuesday.
Wednesday, the Flames scored all of their runs in the first four innings. Liberty broke it wide open in the third and fourth innings, piling up five runs in the 3rd, four more in the fourth.
Cam Locklear led Liberty at the plate with three hits, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
Tre Todd and Ben Highfill also drove in two runs for LU, the Flames improve to 8-and-5 on the season with the win.
