LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Tuesday afternoon at E.C. Glass, the Hilltoppers recognized seven seniors who've committed to continue playing their sport at the college level.
Four are baseball players. Austin Cooper is heading to Ferrum, Jacob Selden has chosen the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets. Avery Combs commits to Hofstra and Hunter Hall selects the Bridgewater Eagles.

Mary Washington is also getting lacrosse player Kenton Marshall.
Avery Combs, COMMITS TO DIV. 1 HOFSTRA BASEBALL, said "There were some other schools like Washington & Lee, William & Mary that I liked, but Hofstra was eventually the best fit and I'm happy with my decision."
Jacob Selden, COMMITS TO RANDOLPH-MACON BASEBALL, said "Freshman year I wasn't a great catcher and I was almost getting pushed out for my spot and I knew I needed to do something. And hard work is what pays off and clearly it's doing pretty good right now."
Kenton Marshall, COMMITS TO MARY WASHINGTON LACROSSE, said "Ever since I started playing it's been a dream to play in college. So I'm really excited to further my education and playing four more years in the sport I love to play."
