Rustburg athletes make college commitments
RUSTBURG, Va. (WSET) - Tuesday afternoon at Rustburg, four Red Devils senior student-athletes announced their college commitments for this coming fall.
Football's Grayson Harvey and Shmar Johnson are both headed to Ferrum, teammate Logan Reusser will play for Shenandoah and track standout Cahmya Robinson will run for Randolph College.
Grayson Harvey, COMMITS TO FERRUM FOOTBALL, said "It feels like Rustburg just in college form. I know a lot of people up there that can help me study-wise and I know a lot of people up there playing football and sports that can also help me with sports, too."
Shmar Johnson, COMMITS TO FERRUM FOOTBALL, said "They told me that I'm going to have to work hard, that nothing's given and I know that now. So I can't wait to get down there and work hard with my new family."
Logan Reusser, COMMITS TO SHENANDOAH FOOTBALL, said "I've been dreaming about it ever since I was a little kid. I can't wait to get up there and experience the whole tailgates and everything. From the beginning of the day 'til the end of the night, I can't wait for it."
