Orion Martin steps down as Martinsville football coach
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WSET) - The Martinsville Bulldogs will have a new head football coach this coming season.
One-time Virginia Tech star Orion Martin has stepped down after four years on the job. Martin is engaged to be married and his fiance lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Martin is taking a job as an assistant at St. Albans School in D.C.
Martin guided the Bulldogs to the playoffs the last three seasons, highlighted by an 8-and-4 record this past year, Martinsville's first winning season in 10 years.
