LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Two members of the state champion L.C.A. Bulldogs baseball team have officially committed to playing ball at the next level.

Catcher Wes Clarke will head to South Carolina, while pitcher and outfielder Kyle Horton goes to Charleston Southern. Afterwards, the duo spoke on what helped them at LCA, and what they are looking forward to.

Kyle Horton: "All of the coaches (at CSU) are like, they're really into the development , and good with the players and all, so I felt comfortable down there. (At LCA) It's a great environment here, we play against the best competition, and the coaches helped us through it."

Wes Clarke: "A lot of good players with work ethic pushed me to be better. And you know, as a team culture, we push each other and we thrive off of each other."
