JF & Appomattox girls soccer, Glass boys lacrosse all unbeaten

FOREST, Va. (WSET) - E.C. Glass boys lacrosse, JF girls soccer and Appomattox girls soccer all bring unbeaten records into state tourney action Tuesday night.

The Glass boys play at Midlothian Tuesday at 5:30 in the state semifinals, a win and they advance to Saturday's state final in Salem.

JF girls soccer, the defending state champ, plays host to Loudoun County Tuesday night at 6 in state quarterfinal action. The players say their focus is NOT on staying unbeaten.

Ava Davis, JF FRESHMAN STANDOUT, said "I think we just kind of expect it as a team to play our best and to try to just do our best. And if that means winning every game, then that's what it is."

Appomattox girls soccer, 20-and-0 on the season, plays host to Gate City Tuesday at 6 in the state quarterfinals.
