Heritage breaks a late tie, beats Dan River 69-64

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - High school boys at Heritage, the Pioneers broke a late tie and beat visiting Dan River 69-64 Wednesday night at Heritage.

The Wildcats made a late run at Heritage, Tyree Barton bombs in a long three to help spur the rally. Then Bryson McLaughlin got free for the bucket, two of his game-high 24 points and we've got a tie game at 64 with just over a minute left.

But Heritage scored the final five points of the game to win it, Keenan Austin with a go-ahead follow of his own miss, he had 16 points.

C.J. Rosser led the Pioneers with 19, Heritage improves to 7-and-4 on the season.
