Heritage Boys, Brookville Girls claim Seminole crowns, plus Monday scores

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Down 6 with one quarter to go in the Seminole District title game, Heritage's CJ Rosser did what he does best.

Take over.

The senior poured in 29 points, while teammate Jay Warren hit clutch free throws down the stretch to lead the Pioneers to a 65-58 comeback win over Jefferson Forest to claim the District title.

Seminole Player of the Year Jordan Richeson was held scoreless in the first half, but heated up in the 2nd half. Richeson's 17 points included a three point shot that gave the Cavs a lead with 90 seconds left. But Rosser and company pulled away to seal the title.
