      White Resigns as Rockbridge Co. Football Coach

      Lexington - Rockbridge County will have a new head football coach next season for the first time in 10 years.


      Jason White has resigned after nine seasons as Wildcats head coach and 14 years with the program. White said he'll begin pursuit of a master's degree in educational leadership from JMU with night classes starting next week. He'll continue to teach at Rockbridge. White compiled an overall record of 48-and-52, he led the Wildcats to the state title game his second season in 2006.
