Heritage Prepares for Playoff Test Against Hidden Valley

Lynchburg - Football Friday enters Week 3 of the playoffs this Friday night.

One of the area teams still playing with the ultimate dream of winning a state championship is Heritage. The Pioneers, who made it to the state title game a year ago, bring a perfect 12-and-0 record into this Friday's home game against Hidden Valley.

Brad Bradley, 24-2 AT HERITAGE (2 SEASONS), said "You know they are hot. They beat Spotswood who was 9-and-1, they beat Lord Botetourt which was 10-and-1. What we've got to do, we've got to come in here and make sure that doesn't happen to us. You've talked to me before, it's more about what the Pioneers do."

Dante Jefferson, HERITAGE JR. LINEBACKER/WIDE RECEIVER, said "They like to run the ball a lot, they're a tough team. So we've got to come back with that physicality that we had against William Byrd."

Elijah Gallagher, HERITAGE SR. LINEBACKER/SLOT RECEIVER, said "They don't like to pass a lot, Coach said they have some trick plays. We've just got to keep our eyes open and our ears open."
