Smith, Carper, and Porter ran all over teams last season. The question is - will they have holes to run through? Coach Watts has some big boys up front on the offensive and defensive lines but they are inexperienced. The coaching staff is suggesting to those young guys to treat preseason scrimmages like real games. Last season ended roughly for Liberty in the first round of the playoffs. They scored in the final minutes only to watch Magna Vista score in the final seconds to win 51-49. Players are using that loss as a source of motivation because this year outside expectations are even higher.
