Only four current seniors played significantly last season so overall the team is young. The offensive line will have some sophomore starters and maybe even some freshmen. If they can develop quickly and provide holes and protection the Raiders have the ability to move the chains because they have a lot of talented skill players. Deion Edwards is back at QB after an academic snafu forced him to watch 12 games from the sidelines in 2013. Defensive Coordinator Ed Landis left to coach at Jefferson Forest so there are a few new faces at Appomattox practices this season.
