Williamsburg Police arrest suspect in bomb investigation
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Local and federal authorities have arrested a man in connection with the detonation of an explosive device in downtown Williamsburg parking lot.
Officials say 30-year-old Stephen Powers was arrested at his home by Williamsburg Police Friday morning.
According to police, Powers is responsible for putting an explosive device at the intersection of South Boundary Street and Francis Street.
They say he is being charged with possession of using an explosive device and committing an act of terrorism.
