Water main valve maintenance starts Monday on several Lynchburg streets
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Lynchburg's Department of Water Resources will be conducting water main valve maintenance on several streets starting Monday morning.
The work will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays until Friday, June 30.
The following streets will be affected by the work:
- Link Road
- Round Hill Road
- Gregory Lane
- Wheatland Court
- Cranehill Drive
- Hurdle Hill Road
- Overlink Court
- Reusens Road
- Oriskany Street
- Hydro Street
- V.E.S. Road
- Williams Road
Those who live in the area and experience discolored water during the maintenance should run cold water for three to five minutes to let the water clear up.
Officials say if the water remains discolored longer than five minutes, contact the Department of Water Resources.
