UVA fans celebrating win in first round of NCAA tournament

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- University of Virginia has advanced in the NCAA tournament, beating UNC Wilmington Thursday 76-71 in Orlando.

And fans were out in force watching the game in Lynchburg at Buffalo Wild Wings.

UVA fanatics went home with high hopes for this year's tournament.

The tournament isn't just big for the fans, restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings see the tournament as a win too.

"We definitely get a bump for lunch come tournament time," said Manager, Joseph Carr. "We got games going on from noon all the way through the afternoon into the evening,so definitely a little bit busier."

He says it's a bonus having multiple teams from Virginia in the tournament.

Many fans are hoping for a Final Four appearance for UVA.

"I'm calling it right here on TV, Final Four Virginia Cavaliers," said Chris Seigla.
