Teenagers, who ran away in Gloucester Co., have been found safe
The missing juveniles have both been found, they are safe and well, and their families have been notified, according to the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office.
GLOUCESTER Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Gloucester County Sheriff's Office said it's looking for two juvenile runaways.
Carissa McMillan, 13, and Sawyer Lemon, 14, were last seen at midnight and 12:30 a.m., respectively, on Tuesday, February 6, at their homes in the county.
The sheriff's office said both teens left notes for their parents describing their intent to run away from home.
They said it's unknown what time the teens left their homes overnight or where they may be going.
The sheriff's office said McMillan and Lemon are in a 'dating relationship.'
Investigators said they are believed to be in a silver, 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe with VA tag LEMNLND, which is owned by Lemon's parents.
The sheriff's office provided a photo of what the vehicle looks like, but it is not the actual vehicle.
Anyone with information concerning the juvenile’s or vehicle’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 804-693-3890.
