Technology company moving to Amherst County, bringing 22 jobs
AMHERST Co., Va. (WSET) -- Integrated Technology Group is moving to Amherst County bringing 22 full-time, high-wage jobs.
According to the company, which is a provider of commercial technology solutions to the Central and Southwestern Virginia regions, it's moving into the building owned by the Economic Development Authority of Amherst County in the Amelon Commerce Center.
ITG said it's a growing company, looking to expand to new markets and double their employee base over the next five years.
“Gaining a tech company like ITG is a great win for Amherst County. The partnership between the EDA and ITG will provide jobs and economic growth for Amherst for years to come,” said Calvin Kennon, EDA Chairman.
The 6,314 sq. ft. building has been empty for several years and was formerly leased to CMC Rebar.
