ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- A neighbor and friend of the woman shot and killed at a Family Dollar in Roanoke over the weekend said she can't believe she's gone.

Angie Koestline said she's known Felicia Poindexter for years.

Koestline said the mother of four valued her kids the most, saying Poindexter was always generous, smiling, and fun to be around.

She said if everyone knew someone like her, the world would be a better place.

"She had an infectious smile, the strongest God-loving woman that I know, she was so kind-hearted and she was a mother first," Koestline said.

Police arrested Kimberly Gollop at the scene and she's now charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Additional charges are pending.

Police say Gollop also shot David Gravely in the leg, saying the two knew each other and had protective orders filed, but had not been served.

Anyone with information about this incident are asked to contact the RPD crime line at 540-344-8500.
