Raiders football team gets state rings

APPOMATTOX, Va. (WSET) - Thursday night was State Championship Ring night at Appomattox County.

Raiders players got to enjoy the spoils of victory, earning their championship rings again this year.

The Raiders won their second-straight state football title back in December, completing another perfect 15-and-0 season.

Appomattox has now won 30 straight games, that's the longest current win streak in the state.

The last time the Raiders lost a football game was in 2014.
