President Trump to speak at LU's graduation Saturday

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - President Donald Trump will speak at Liberty University's commencement Saturday.

The university has been preparing for Trump's visit all week.

They've also been preparing for rain.

Umbrellas are among the items the university is not allowing inside Williams Stadium, but they say they have 50,000 ponchos available as needed.

The university says if there is light rain, there ceremony will continue as normal. The university says they'll be releasing a final weather contingency plan Friday afternoon.

The university is expecting about 40,000 people to attend the ceremony Saturday morning, and they have a parking plan in place.

Getting through security will be much different than other commencement ceremonies. There will be 35 screening units on campus.

To keep you up-to-date on President Trump's visit, ABC 13 will have a special edition of Good Morning Virginia from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
