Police: Two trailers stolen from Lynchburg homes last week

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department said it's investigating reports of stolen trailers from the city of Lynchburg.

Police said the first reported trailer theft happened the night of October 11 from the 3800 block of Old Forest Road.

That trailer is described as a black 2016 Nex-haul enclosed trailer with black and chrome bumpers, a side door and ramps, with a dent over the left wheel well; the license plate is NDSOLR1.

The second reported trailer theft happened the night of October 12 and was stolen from the 1400 block of Lakeside Drive.

That trailer is described as a black 2018 Carolina Trailer with a Virginia license plate of CT678988; police said the trailer had a lock on the hitch at the time it was taken.

Police said they didn't have photos of the trailers.
