Missing Danville woman found safe

UPDATE: The Danville Police Department Erica Millner, who was reported missing earlier this month, was found safe. They say she was located in Lynchburg after someone recognized her from the media release. Millner was verified safe by a Lynchburg Police officer and removed from the National Crime Information Center for missing adults.

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- The Danville Police Department said it's looking for a missing woman who was last seen Wednesday, September 13 and was reported missing that Friday.

Police said she Erica Diane Millner, 34, of Danville was last seen operating a tan, 2005 4-door Nissan Altima with a Virginia license plate, VMD-3722.

Family said Millner is reported to be suffering from a mental illness and indicated she may be headed to Florida.

Police reported she was last seen wearing a short sleeved pink and white stripe V-neck shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball hat with a red doo-rag underneath.

They said she also may be in possession of a clear bag containing clothing.
