Police: Martinsville shooting suspect should be considered armed and dangerous
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WSET) - The Martinsville Police Department has identified a suspect in a recent shooting, and say he's armed and dangerous.
Officials say Malik Devantae Manns, 20, of Henry County shot a man March 13 in the 200 block of Moss Street in Martinsville.
The victim had a single non-life threatening gunshot wound to the torso, according to police.
Police have issued warrants to Manns' arrest, charging him with malicious wounding victim severely injured, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm in a public place causing injury.
Officials say Manns is 5'10," and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
Police say Manns should be considered armed and dangerous.
