Police: Lynchburg man charged with sharing obscene literature with 12-year-old CT girl
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department said it's made an arrest after it was notified by police in Connecticut that obscene literature was being shared between a man in Lynchburg and a 12-year-old girl in Connecticut.
LPD's Forensics Unit said it got information from Connecticut State Police about it on Wednesday, February 7.
The Forensics Unit initiated an investigation and on February 14, they executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Dumas Street.
Ryan Alexander Mullin, 20, was arrested without incident and charged with taking indecent liberties with children and use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children.
He's currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
