Police investigate shooting that sent 26-year-old woman to hospital
ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) - Roanoke Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday morning.
Police say officers responded to the 3600 block of Shenandoah Avenue NW for a shots fired call just before 9 a.m.
Officers found a woman inside a house with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, according to officials.
Police have identified the woman as Priscilla Elise Trusclair, 26, of Roanoke.
According to officials, Trusclair was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Roanoke Fire EMS crews.
No arrests have been made, and officers, detectives, and forensic personnel are at the scene.
