Police: 59-year-old man found dead at Lynchburg bus stop
UPDATE: 12:40 p.m.
The Lynchburg Police Department has identified the man found dead on Langhorned Road around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday as Wayne Elwin Mosby, 59.
They do not suspect foul play and said his death appears to be the result of natural causes.
UPDATE: 12:15 p.m.
A witness said the body found on Langhorne Road Wednesday morning belonged to a homeless man who was a regular customer at the Hardee's nearby.
The man's body was found at the bus stop just before 7:00 a.m.
Police have not yet identified the person's identity.
Toni Overstreet, an employee at the Hardee's said she saw the man just minutes before police showed up.
She said she did not think anything of it because most days he could be found sitting at the same bus stop.
"I thought he was still just sitting there waiting for a bus," she said.
A death investigation is still underway to determine the man's cause of death.
